Mr David Byrne is still not accepting comments on his blog. I thought I'd just post an update every now and then so we can monitor how long it is before he eventually gets it.

Still though, how is he going to get it if we can't leave comments to complain about such ridiculous behavior?
David Byrne has rubbed me the wrong way since the 80's. He's always struck me as being pretentious.
Neil Gaiman, on the other hand, is a huge crush of mine, and as far as I'm concerned, he can do no wrong. The lack of comments on his blog doesn't bother me a bit.
Well, I like Neil Gaiman too, I just feel frustrated that these guys miss the point with blogging. Blogging is at least partially about dialogue. You can see how well it works by looking at other 'famous' people's blogs. Take David Brin or Will Wheaton for example. Will is more active than most in 'responding' but it's not necessary to do so. The point is that there is a forum to discuss the blogger's and the bloggee's thoughts. You know what you were saying on your own blog about wanking? It's a lot more like wanking if there's nobody else participating...
He will probably never "get it". He does have a spiffy page up where you can buy all his crap though.
