It was inevitable that sooner or later SGM was going to get his hands on a chainsaw, right?
Sigh.

Joey, I don't think it's a hard hat. It looks like it scared the mullet right off the guy.
I can't tell if the tree is snarling or laughing. Joe - you actually read the directions, eh? Most people don't.

The tree looks more hurt than the guy. The tree isn't even touching him. He's making a big deal out of nothing, I say.
Let's not forget trees have feelings.
Anne Arkhan: Yeah, it kinda looks like that. It's not the stupidest thing SGM can do with a chainsaw though, as we shall see in future episodes...

Jen: I dunno. That tree looks pretty vicious to me. I bet SGM was just trying to let it know its place...
It almost looks like he's an innocent bystander to a massacre by an independently operating crazed chainsaw.
A possesed tool. I guess it happens to everyone.
SGM fared better with the tree than he did trying to wander his way into Singapore's water treatment plant. There he just gets shot in the chest by a Simple Graphic Soldier.
